Add eating to the list of vices one can indulge in while in Las Vegas.

Sunday morning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Smithfield, the sponsor of Aric Almirola and the No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports Ford, will host the third qualifying event of the Second Annual Smithfield Whole Hog Challenge.

Eight amateur eaters will square off at 9:45 a.m. Sunday in the Smithfield display in the Track Fan Zone. The eight contestants will do battle to see who can eat the most Smithfield bacon in five minutes. Seven-time NASCAR Premier Series champion Richard Petty and Almirola will emcee and judge the eating contest.

Sunday's bacon-eating champ will receive a pair of Richard Petty Driving Experience ride-along passes and an all-inclusive trip to compete for the championship title with 15 other winners at the Smithfield Whole Hog Challenge Championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November.
