The track is open and teams are hard at work preparing for Sunday's race by taking the cars through NASCAR technical inspection, setting up the pit boxes and more.

While the crew members are putting the final touches on the cars, the drivers are spending time with hospitality guests, sponsors and fans.

As the green flag nears, the competitors headed into the weekly driver-crew chief meeting.

Former Dover winner Dale Earnhardt Jr. will go to the rear of the field for the start of Sunday's race after the team changed the rear end gear.

In addition, NASCAR announced an 18-by-18 inch repair was made to the racing surface in Turn 4.

The cars have been pushed out to the starting grid and each pit stall features a member of the military proudly holding an American flag.

As defending Sprint Cup champion Kevin Harvick prepares for 400 miles at Dover, his son Keelan is getting ready for the race back home.
