HARRISON, N.J. -- The New York Red Bulls have signed the brother of defending MLS leading goal-scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips.

Red Bulls sporting director Ali Curtis announced on Monday that midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips will be joining his brother on the team.

Contract terms were not immediately available for the 33-year-old former member of England's World Cup team.

Shaun Wright-Phillips will be available for Saturday's game against the Union in Philadelphia.
