Rodgers surprises young fan fighting cancer

Away from the football field, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is as dedicated to the fight against cancer as any professional athlete can be. It’s the biggest reason that Rodgers was upset with the piece that CBS news magazine "60 Minutes" ran on him two weeks ago, as it chose to leave out his work with the MACC — Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer — Fund.
Rodgers is currently sporting a mustache in support of Movember, an annual November event that aims to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
And recently, Rodgers again showed his charitable side when he spent a day hanging out with Maggie, a 10-year-old Packers fan who battled cancer during her infancy.
In the video, Rodgers and Maggie are shown jumping on a trampoline, playing basketball and soccer and even teaming up on the keyboard. It’s a series of very nice moments from Rodgers, who has seen his public image questioned somewhat — really for the first time in his career — after the fallout from the "60 Minutes" piece.
This video, one that Rodgers will certainly have no problem with the way it was edited, clearly shows that Rodgers is more than just words when it comes to his dedication to the MACC Fund.
