The Orlando Magic were reportedly trying to make a play to get the No. 1 pick from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Initial reports had the Magic offering the their No. 4 and No. 12 picks in Thursday's NBA Draft plus Arron Afflalo, in exchange for the No. 1 pick.

However, it doesn't appear as if Afflalo will be part of any deal with the Cavaliers because, according to Yahoo Sports NBA writer and FOX Sports 1 contributor Adrian Wojnarowski, he has been dealt to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Evan Fournier and the No. 56 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Afflalo, 28, led the Magic in scoring last season, averaging 18.2 ppg. He has seen his scoring average grow from one year to the next in each of his seven seasons in the league.

Joel Embiid was expected to be the No. 1 pick until undergoing surgery to repair a stress fracture in foot last week, which has turned some teams off due to injury concerns. Embiid missed the Big 12 tournament and the NCAA tournament due to a stress fracture in his back.

Attention has now turned to Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins as the top can't-miss prospects in this year's draft. It's unknown which of the two the Magic may be targeting if they completed a trade for the top pick.
