Report: Cowboys, Dolphins among 6 NFL teams at Manziel's final home game
Was Saturday the final show at Kyle Field for Johnny Manziel?
There were 88,504 in attendance to see Texas A&M beat Mississippi State, and up in the press box were scouts from six NFL teams watching Johnny Football, according to a report by NFL Media senior analyst Gil Brandt.
Scouts from the Cowboys, Dolphins, Jaguars, Saints, Bears and Bills watched as Manziel went 30-of-39 for 446 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions.
Not his best performance, but everyone knows by now what Manziel is capable of with his arm and legs.
Tony Romo got an extension with the Cowboys last spring, but fans probably wouldn't mind seeing Manziel under center at AT&T Stadium.
Manziel would see a few familiar faces in Miami.
Former Texas A&M head coach and current Dolphins offensive coordinator Mike Sherman brought Manziel to College Station, but he was fired before getting a chance to see what he could do.
During Sherman's time as the Aggies' coach, current Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was one of his starters at Texas A&M.
