Rangers' Triple-A team to give away Willie Nelson bobbleheads

Give the Texas Rangers' minor-league affiliates kudos for getting creative.

The Double-A team is having a "Full House Night" this summer complete with an appearance from Uncle Joey himself, Dave Coulier.

The Triple-A Round Rock Express are breaking ground of their own, unveiling a Willie Nelson bobblehead for their June 18 game. The bobblehead is the first officially sanctioned bobblehead for the Texas legend.

The bobblehead features Nelson wearing a bandana and holding a guitar. He isn't smoking anything either.

Thinking outside the box is nothing new for Round Rock. The club also has a Christmas in July event planned for July 24 with Express players wearing jerseys that resemble an ugly Christmas sweater. The jerseys the players are wearing in that game will be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting Any Baby Can, an Austin based non-profit.
