Panthers sign D Josh Brown to entry-level deal
SUNRISE, Fla. -- The Florida Panthers have signed defenseman Josh Brown to an entry-level contract, the team announced Thursday.
"We are pleased to have agreed to an entry-level contract with Josh," Panthers general manager Dale Tallon said in a release. "Josh has helped lead the Oshawa Generals to four consecutive postseason appearances, while serving as Oshawa's captain for the past two seasons."

Brown, 21, reached career-highs in goals (4), assists (17), points (21), penalty minutes (92) and plus-minus (+49) in his final season with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League. He has recorded six goals, 53 points and 303 penalty minutes in 230 career OHL games.
The London, Ontario, native was selected by Florida in the sixth round, 152nd overall, in the 2013 NHL draft.
