Packers' Adams feels slighted by speed rating in Madden 16
Who doesn't love a good football video game? Apparently Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams.
Adams is obviously a bit confident in how fast he is -- and perturbed at how not fast the new Madden 16 game has him rated.
Madden played me boy Im pissed! My dog bouta have another chew toy in a minute... @EAMaddenNFL #86speed ????

An 86 speed puts Adams well down the list of NFL players in that category. On the Packers alone, here who is rated faster than Adams: Jared Abbrederis (88), Chris Banjo (87), Javess Blue (87), Randall Cobb (88), Ricky Collins (88), Tay Glover-Wright (93), Demetri Goodson (90), Casey Hayward (88), Jeff Janis (93), Ty Montgomery (89), Jordy Nelson (87), Damarious Randall (90), Sean Richardson (89), Quinten Rollins (87), Sam Shields (92) and Myles White (90).
Heck, Adams, a 2014 second-round pick, did have 38 catches last year (11.7 average per reception). Abbrederis didn't even play because of a torn ACL. And some of those rated faster than Adams weren't even drafted (Blue, Glover-Wright) or on the team anymore (Collins).
I guess Adams is going to have to prove it on the field to EA Sports. Kind of like that teammate of his, Aaron Rodgers, who is one of three players (along with New England's Rob Gronkowski and Houston's J.J. Watt) to get the highest overall score of 99.
