ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Orlando City SC capitalized on Chicago's own goal to tie the Fire 1-1 on Sunday night in a game delayed by lightning and rain.

Lewis Neal lobbed a pass into the center of the box for Cyle Larin that Chicago's Eric Gerhig attempted to clear, but his header slipped past goalkeeper Sean Johnson and tied it in the 37th minute.

David Accam dribbled from the end-line into the center of the box and fired a right-footer into the bottom-corner at the near post to give the Fire (7-13-6) a 1-0 lead about 7 minutes earlier.

Darwin Ceren's shot from just outside the box in extra time was deflected by a diving, one-handed save by Johnson to preserve the tie and earn a critical point for the Fire.

Orlando City (7-12-8) took over sole possession of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Chicago is two points behind Orlando City but also trails Montreal and New York City FC.

Heavy rain and lightning delayed the game for nearly an hour.
