Offseason begins with golf, Greece for globe-trotting Giannis

There is no rest for the weary, especially so in the case of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Bucks' postseason ended sooner than they had hoped and while we know Giannis will spend a lot of his time this offseason working on his game, he's found time to do other things as well.

After Milwaukee was ousted by Toronto in the first round of the playoffs, Antetokounmpo tried his hand at golf. No doubt this only furthered his desire to still be playing hoops.

While we will agree with Giannis' assessment of his golf game -- "I realize I suck … I'll stick to basketball" -- it probably didn't help that the club he was using was a bit small for a 7-footer.

Next up was checking out his older brother, Thanasis, play for MoraBanc Andorra.

As long as he was overseas, Antetokounmpo once again hooked up with Millko, a maker of chocolate milk located in Greece and with whom he's had a relationship dating back to at least 2014.

According to a Facebook post, Antetokounmpo will be making a film -- of course, this is using a translation and likely means a commercial.

But Giannis will be back in the United States soon enough. He was announced as a headliner for "Greek Freak Week" in New York City on June 4.

As part of this celebration which is commemorating the 30th anniversary of a Greek radio station, Giannis and Thanasis will coach some lucky (and we do mean luck; a $50 ticket has to be purchased and then children will be selected via a lottery) Greek-American kids in some exhibition games at Adelphi University.

Giannis, as well as his parents, will be feted later that night in a gala (which you can attend for $200, or get some friends and buy a table of 10 for $2,500. Or maybe get the VIP experience for $5,000.)

Giannis Antetokoumpo will be playing some basketball, too. Well, at least virtually.

Video-game developer Saber Interactive announced that Giannis will be available as a free download in their NBA Playgrounds game.

We have a feeling we won't be seeing him in the upcoming The Golf Club 2, though.
