An NHL Players' Association and Hockey Night in Canada poll has named Dallas Stars winger Loui Eriksson the most underrated player in the NHL.
318 players took part in the questionnaire, which included other questions such as best skater (New York Rangers' Marian Gaborik), hardest shot (Boston Bruins' Zdeno Chara) and player you'd want to start a franchise with (Pittsburgh Penguins' Sidney Crosby).
The Stars also were in the running for another honor, placing second in the vote for most underrated team.
Eriksson did his part to place himself on the map during Sunday's All-Star Game. The Swede scored two goals
