NASCAR community sending prayers to young cancer patient
The NASCAR community is sending #PrayersToElijah, a young cancer patient whose prognosis has recently taken a turn for the worst.
Elijah - first diagnosed with a rare neck cancer in May of 2014 - participated in this year's "Catwalk For A Cause." Created by Martin Truex Jr. and girlfriend Sherry Pollex, the annual event raises money for pediatric cancer research and families of children being treated at Charlotte's Levine Children's Hospital.
This week, both teams and drivers (as well as wives and girlfriends) took to Twitter to offer their support.
We just wanted to share our favorite picture of Elijah from this years Catwalk for a Cause! ❤️❤️❤️ #CatwalkHero #PrayersforElijah #NeverGiveUp #Childhoodcancerawarenessmonth
