Comedian Michael Kosta lends his trademark banter to the conversation each day on Crowd Goes Wild.
Known primarily for his humor and sarcastic wit, Kosta also brings a sports background to the FOX Sports family. He played tennis professionally and at the University of Illinois, where he won four Big Ten championships, and was an assistant tennis coach at the University of Michigan.
Eventually, Kosta traded his racket for a microphone and full-time job as a stand-up comic based in Los Angeles. Kosta's television appearances include The Tonight Show, Conan, Chelsea Lately and Soup Investigates on E!, TruTV's Smoking Gun Presents, G4's Attack of the Show and Showtime's Live Nude Comedy.
Kosta hosted the backstage show for the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards. He has written pilots for MTV, NBC and Comedy Central, and recently had his own scripted pilot, based on his life, produced for FOX.
Additionally, Kosta recently performed his first stand-up special, Comedy Central Presents: Michael Kosta, and has performed at the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen, in addition to the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.
He earned a degree in Speech Communication from the University of Illinois, and graduated from Huron High School in Ann Arbor, Mich., where he won two state championships in tennis. According to Kosta, when Regis was born, Kosta was -48 years old.
