Los Angeles FC plucks Latif Blessing from Sporting KC in MLS Expansion Draft

Sporting KC forward Latif Blessing is headed to the West Coast after Los Angeles FC selected him in the MLS expansion draft on Tuesday.

Blessing, 20, joined Sporting KC ahead of the 2017 season. The young forward appeared in 25 games this past season, starting in 16 of them. He scored three goals on 37 shots (15 on goal) and recorded an assist.

Blessing will head to Los Angeles FC and battle for a starting gig.
