Kyle Busch's advice for young drivers: Don't be like Brad

Team Penske's Brad Keselowski has certainly ruffled some feathers throughout his NASCAR career.

The 2012 Sprint Cup champion has had run-ins with Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, and most recently, Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon.

However, Keselowski has clearly stated he would rather be successful than popular among his peers and fans.

Despite that success and due to his multiple run-ins, Keselowski has not made a great impression on all of his fellow competitors -- as was made evident by one of Kyle Busch's answers during Thursday's NASCAR Media Day at Daytona International Speedway.

When asked what advice he would give young drivers entering the sport, Busch did not mince words.

"If there's one to not come in like, don't come in like Brad," the Joe Gibbs Racing driver said. "Try to be someone of your own."

Busch -- who has been in the Sprint Cup Series considerably longer than Keselowski -- has more wins, top fives, top 10s and a better average finish.

But Keselowski has made quite an impact since joining the NASCAR ranks. The 31-year-old is a former Sprint Cup and Xfinity series champion, with 16 Sprint Cup wins, 50 top fives, and 79 top 10s in fewer than 200 career starts.

Keselowski's outspoken attitude outside the car and aggressive nature on the track has alienated him a bit from some inside the garage, however.

As he mentioned during the recent Charlotte Motor Speedway Media Tour, Keselowski is not letting the comments of his competitors get inside his head. Instead, he remains focused on being himself and not letting others define who he is.

"I know I had a lot to learn and am still learning," he said of his early days in NASCAR. "I think that is a key to life, to never feel like you are done learning."

As for his advice to young drivers?

"Learn to golf. It pays a lot better."
