MIAMI (AP) -- Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony was limited in practice by a sore right elbow, though said he would "absolutely" play Sunday night against the Miami Heat.
Anthony participated in the Knicks' Saturday workout in Miami, though only shot with his left hand. He says the injury "flared up" during Friday's loss at Cleveland. He cautioned that he does not expect to be 100 percent for a couple of weeks.
The exact nature of Anthony's elbow problem remains unclear. Anthony told Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni that he's had a lingering bursa sac issue for some time.
The game Sunday in Miami will be Anthony's third with the Knicks since he was traded by the Denver Nuggets in a blockbuster deal.
