Kluwe takes same-sex marriage fight to a chair

Chris Kluwe is at it again.

A day after news broke that the Vikings punter had posed in OUT magazine to show his support for same-sex marriage, Kluwe now is set to debate the issue.

His opponent?

An empty chair.

In an obvious reference to Clint Eastwood's interviewing President Obama's empty chair at the Republican National Convention, Kluwe will debate a chair Friday at the Brave New Workshop Theatre in Minneapolis.

The debate even has a moderator, Twin Cities radio personality Tom Barnard.

Want to attend? You can, but reservations are required through Barnard's Facebook page.

The Minnesota Same-Sex Marriage Amendment will be featured on the state's November ballot. If passed, the measure would define marriage as between one man and one woman in the state of Minnesota.
