Not everything was perfect for Jeff Gordon Friday as he came out of retirement to run his first practice laps in Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chervolet for Sunday's Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Gordon's public relations manager, Jon Edwards, pointed out a big mistake on his firesuit, which featured 2006, '07, 08' and '09 as the years he won his four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championships.
Those are actually the years Gordon's teammate, Jimmie Johnson, won his four consecutive titles.
Gordon won championships in 1995, '97, '98 and 2001.
