CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:
Recalled RHP BLAKE WOOD from his 30-day rehab assignment with the Triple-A Columbus Clippers, activated him from the 60-day Disabled List and optioned him to Columbus.Outrighted C OMIR SANTOS to the AAA Columbus roster.
Wood, 27, has been on the 60-day Disabled List the entire season. He made rehab appearances at AAA Columbus, AA Akron, A Lake County & Short-Season A Mahoning Valley beginning on May 4 and recently wrapped up a 4-appearance stint with the Clippers that began on July 4 (0.00ERA, 4.0IP, 1H, 0R, 3BB, 8K, .077AVG).
