How big is the Prep Zone?

The CIF-SS is big...I mean really big, there are over 580-plus schools ranging from Lee Vining High School to the North (San Francisco) and Avalon High School on Catalina Island to the South; as far West as Morro Bay High School and as far East as Twentynine Palms High School.

The CIF-SS serves 230 cities and 10 counties and 171,200 square miles throughout Southern California...In order to do the CIF-SS justice, the Prep Zone has to log quite a few miles to bring fans the very best of high school sports.
