Hong Kong wins toss, opts to field against Zimbabwe
NAGPUR, India (AP) Hong Kong captain Tanwir Afzal won the toss and elected to field first against Zimbabwe in the World Twenty20 opening match on Tuesday.
Hong Kong's Ryan Campbell, 44, became the oldest debutant in T20 internationals as Zimbabwe hopes to qualify for the second round from Group B.
Fast bowler Tendai Chatara recovered from shin injury and made it to the playing XI for Zimbabwe which also included seam bowler Tinashe Panyangara.
Hong Kong will look to build its batting around Babar Hayat, who hit the fourth-fastest fifty in T20I last month during the Asia Cup qualifying in Bangladesh.
