Herm Edwards adds 11 recruits to ASU Class of 2018
TEMPE, Ariz. -- New Arizona State football coach Herm Edwards added 11 players to his Class of 2018 on Wednesday, giving the Sun Devils a total of 22 newcomers for the upcoming season. The 11 recruits who signed letters of intent join 11 who signed during the early signing period in December.
The February signing class consists of 8 freshmen, one sophomore, a junior and one graduate transfer -- former Stanford offensive lineman Casey Tucker.
The overall class includes 12 players from California, five from Texas, two from Arizona and one each from Washington, Louisiana and California. The 22 players include five linebackers, four offensive linemen, four running backs, three safeties, two cornerbacks, two defensive lineman, one wide receiver and one athlete.
ASU's top-ranked recruits include safety Aashari Crosswell, lienbacker Merlin Robertson, guard Jarrett Bell, wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, defensive end Jermayne Lole and cornerbacks Dominique Harrison and Terin Adams.
