Brittney Griner, the former Baylor standout who was the first pick in the WNBA draft by the Phoenix Mercury, has an endorsement deal with Nike and is getting fashion that’s branded for men.

Griner, who came publicly out following her stellar basketball career at Baylor, thinks it’s a perfect fit for her.

"It clicked for me," Griner told ESPN the Magazine’s Kate Fagan. "I used to do the whole baggy, hard-core, I’m-a-boy look. Then I went through a preppy phase. Now I have the athletic, bow-tie look. I found my style."

Griner wore a suit to the WNBA draft and has also been sporting bow ties in her recent wardrobe choices.

Nike already has taken care of Griner as far as her shoes. She wears an exclusive version of a Kobe Bryant model. Griner had two dunks in her first WNBA game and leads the league in blocks at 3.5 per game.
