Gophers release full nonconference schedule

The Minnesota Golden Gophers announced their 13-game nonconference men's basketball schedule Tuesday.
Minnesota opens the season against Lehigh at Williams Arena on Fri., Nov. 8. The Gophers play four of their first five games at "The Barn" before heading to the Maui Invitational, which begins Nov. 25.
After Lehigh, which went 21-10 last season, the Gophers will host Montana (25-7 last season) before heading to Richmond (19-15), which Minnesota beat last season 72-57.
Also highlighting Minnesota's nonconference schedule is the tournament in Hawaii, which the Gophers will open against 2013 Final Four team Syracuse, as well as hosting Florida State (18-16) in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
