Published Jun. 29, 2015 4:23 p.m. ET

Cincinnati Reds third baseman Todd Frazier is making a strong charge late in voting for the 2015 MLB All-Star Game.

Frazier has moved to within 62,980 votes of the St. Louis Cardinals' Matt Carpenter for the starting third base spot. In just a couple of weeks, Frazier has come a long way.

With 25 home runs and 23 RBI, top five in both of those categories, Frazier is one of the National League's most proficient sluggers.
