The Monarchs had an impressive win over St. John Bosco 31-21.
Quarterback JT Daniels and receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown showed why they’re two of the nation’s most gifted players at their positions.
2. (3) Centennial, Corona, 5-1
The Huskies rolled over city rival Santiago 61-14. In the Huskies five wins, they scored over 60 points four times and a measly 52 in the other.

3. (2) St. John Bosco, 5-2
The Braves lost a tough one to Mater Dei but found a quarterback in DJ Uiagalelei. The super sophomore showed he’s as good as the hype and it will be a lot of fun to watch him develop the rest of the season.
4. (4) Mission Viejo, 8-0
The Diablos continue to roll, taking out San Juan Hills 35-7. Junior running back Akili Arnold had 131 yards on just 11 carries and a touchdown.
5. (5) JSerra, 7-0 (at No. 1 Mater Dei, Friday, 7p, Prep Zone)
The Lions had their second straight impressive Trinity League win, taking down Orange Lutheran 52-21 in a dominant offensive display.
Matt Robinson threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns.
6. (6) Upland, 7-0
The Highlanders blew out Damien 49-8 to remain undefeated. Cameron Davis rushed for 126 yards on just seven carries and three touchdowns.
7. (7) Chaminade, 6-1
The Eagles put up 37 points against a tough Loyola defense to win 37-14. Ryan Stevens threw for four touchdowns including three in the 1st half.
8. (9) Rancho Cucamonga, 6-1
The Cougars pitched a shutout in their 48-0 win over Los Osos. Nick Acosta was an efficient 8-13 for 225 yards and three touchdowns.
9. (10) Long Beach Poly, 6-1
The Jackrabbit blew out Compton 57-10. Mike Mauai rushed for 145 yards on just seven carries and scored two touchdowns.
10. (13) Santa Margarita, 5-2
The Eagles pulled away from Servite 51-28 led by dual-threat quarterback Josiah Norwood, who threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 119 yards and one more score.
