FOX Sports South, SportSouth announce Braves telecast team

ATLANTA -- FOX Sports South and SportSouth announced its Atlanta Braves broadcast team for the 2015 Major League Baseball (MLB) regular season.

Play-by-play announcer Chip Caray (@kapaya1234) and analyst Joe Simpson will partner for their sixth season in the FOX Sports broadcast booth. Caray enters his 12th season calling Braves games, while Simpson returns for his 24th. Additionally, Braves legend and MLB Hall of Famer Tom Glavine (@Tom_Glavine) returns for his fourth season to join Caray and Simpson as a guest analyst in the booth for select broadcasts.

Braves LIVE!, the pre- and postgame show for every Braves game telecast on FOX Sports South and SportSouth, will be on-site from Turner Field for all home game telecasts and from the new state-of-the-art FOX Sports South studio when the team is on the road. Host Jerome Jurenovich (@JeromeOnSports) returns for his ninth season where he will be joined by a rotation of former Braves players: Paul Byrd (@PaulByrd36), Brian Jordan (@TwoSportman) and Matt Diaz (@diazfoundation). Byrd enters his third season behind the desk, Jordan will be in his ninth season as a studio analyst and Diaz returns for his second season.

Kristina (Akra) Fitzpatrick (@KA_Fitz), formerly of MLB Network, returns to the Braves announce team as part of a reporter rotation that will include Jenn Hildreth (@jennhildreth) and Byrd to provide exclusive updates and news from the field throughout the games. Fitzpatrick and Hildreth will also host Braves LIVE! for select games.

FOX Sports South and SportSouth will also televise six Spring Training games beginning Wednesday, March 18 with the Braves vs. New York Yankees at 6 p.m. ET on SportSouth.

The Braves open the regular season on SportSouth at the Miami Marlins on Monday, April 6. Coverage begins with a special one-hour Braves LIVE! pregame show at 3 p.m. ET.

Coverage of the Braves home opener against the New York Mets on Friday, April 10 with a special two-hour edition of the Braves LIVE! pregame show at 5:30 p.m. ET.

SportSouth is currently scheduled to air 83 games; 72 games are slated for FOX Sports South.
