Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Sipe could soon be looking for work.
Sipe will not return as the quarterback coach for the San Diego State Aztecs, U-T San Diego reported Tuesday night.
The 65-year-old, an Aztec alum, held the role for five seasons. In that time, he coached quarterback Ryan Lindley, who has struggled in starting assignments for the Arizona Cardinals, most recently in a playoff loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Sipe starred at San Diego State in the early 1970s before being selected by the Browns in the 13th round of the 1972 draft.
In Cleveland, Sipe would become a legend, racking up impressive numbers with the "Kardiac Kids" and earning the NFL's MVP award in 1980.
