Former Angels pitcher goes on funny retirement rant via Twitter
This offseason journeyman pitcher Dan Haren retired after 13 years in the Bigs. A great follow on Twitter, the former Cubs, Dodgers and Angels pitcher cited boredom while on an exercise bike a few days ago as a reason to tweet out some of his career's high and lows:
Only five to seven batters on purpose, that's not too bad, right?
Former Cubs teammate Anthony Rizzo even took the time to respond to Haren's tweets, to which Haren had the ultimate comeback:
When your 1st baseman is pushing 300lb's, you gotta bust your ass over. https://t.co/yFvxO2J2lJ— dan haren (@ithrow88) January 4, 2016
