GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- No. 10 Florida has suspended leading receiver Demarcus Robinson for the fourth time in three seasons.

The Gators (10-1) announced the suspension about 75 minutes before they played rival and 14th-ranked Florida State (9-2) in Gainesville.

Robinson leads the Gators with 47 receptions for 505 yards and two touchdowns. The junior from Fort Valley, Georgia, has talent, but has been benched and/or demoted twice this season and suspended twice as a freshman and for the 2014 season opener against Idaho, a game that was canceled because of thunderstorms.

Without Robinson, senior Ahmad Fulwood is expected to start. But the Gators are more likely to use tight ends Jake McGee, DeAndre Goolsby and C'yontai Lewis alongside receivers Antonio Callaway and Brandon Powell.

Robinson has 105 receptions for 1,338 yards and nine scores.
