Dustin Penner hits up Barack Obama, Roberto Luongo after being traded

If anyone was going to get traded on National Pancake Day, it had to be Ducks forward Dustin Penner.

You'll recall that Penner, then with the Kings, came up with a stiff back one morning in 2012 while eating some flapjacks.

On Tuesday, Anaheim dealt him to Washington.

Penner, who is one of the funnier athletes today, took to Twitter to share this thoughts on going to the nation's capital.

Penner also took the time to reach out to goaltender, Roberto Luongo, who was traded Tuesday from Vancouver to Florida.

The two seem to have a lot in common as they both sent out emoji-only tweets right after finding out they were traded.
