Dustin Penner hits up Barack Obama, Roberto Luongo after being traded
If anyone was going to get traded on National Pancake Day, it had to be Ducks forward Dustin Penner.
You'll recall that Penner, then with the Kings, came up with a stiff back one morning in 2012 while eating some flapjacks.
On Tuesday, Anaheim dealt him to Washington.
Penner, who is one of the funnier athletes today, took to Twitter to share this thoughts on going to the nation's capital.
That's weird. It's not April 1st either. Hmm.I feel used..."Like a young boy comin in for a qvwicke" see ya soon Teddy KGB @ovi8 @washcaps

Penner also took the time to reach out to goaltender, Roberto Luongo, who was traded Tuesday from Vancouver to Florida.
“@strombone1: ?” Hey bud. Quick question. Do we get the air miles or does the team for the flights?

The two seem to have a lot in common as they both sent out emoji-only tweets right after finding out they were traded.
