Danica is autographing tweets -- will you be a lucky recipient?
Danica Patrick is signing fans' tweets.
And, no, it's not a hoax or a gimmick.
Through an event hosted by XFINITY, the title sponsor of NASCAR's No. 2 division, the Sprint Cup Series' only female driver is scheduled on Tuesday afternoon to autograph selected, printed-out tweets that have been submitted by fans over the past few days to the @XFINITYRacing Twitter account with the hashtag #SignMyTweet.
The signed tweets will then be mailed to the fans who submitted them as a unique souvenir from Patrick, one of NASCAR's most popular drivers.
"The #SignMyTweet program is another great example of how XFINITY is providing more access to NASCAR fans," Patrick said. "Our fans are truly the best in sports, and this will be an exciting and unique way for me to show my appreciation to some of them."
This marks the fourth #SignMyTweet event for XFINITY. Previous events featured NFL Hall-of-Famer Emmitt Smith, New York Giants wide receiver and NFL Rookie of the Year Odell Beckham Jr. and Telemundo star Kate del Castillo.
