Dale Earnhardt Jr. hosts star-studded fantasy football draft
With the NFL season right around the corner, fantasy football leagues everywhere are picking up. Fantasy players are scouting the rosters and planning their moves, while leagues assemble to draft their teams.
That was the case for NASCAR's biggest driver and fantasy football aficionado Dale Earnhardt Jr. A member of multiple fantasy football leagues, the perennial fan-favorite hosted a fantasy draft Friday night at Watkins Glen International that would leave many others jealous.
Setting up shot inside the track, the draft included Earnhardt Jr., Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick, Austin and Ty Dillon, Jamie McMurray, Chase Elliott, and Regan Smith.
The league is set up to benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research. David White from Reno, Nev. was also able to join Friday night's fantasy draft thanks to a $12,000 winning bid.
No word on which driver made out with the best team.
