D-backs programming on FOX Sports Arizona ranked No. 1 in Phoenix
Forbes.com reported Tuesday that Arizona Diamondbacks telecasts on FOX Sports Arizona were the No. 1 rated prime-time programming in the Phoenix market from Opening Day through the end of the season.
The Diamondbacks were one of 10 MLB teams to rank No. 1 in Nielsen Ratings for their market -- joining the Kansas City Royals, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Detroit Tigers, Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres.
Diamondbacks telecasts averaged a 3.89 rating for 2015, an improvement of 15 percent from a year ago.
Additionally, FOX Sports Arizona saw substantial demo increases for the D-backs viewing audience over last season:
Adults 18-49: +48 percent.
Men 25-54: +55 percent.
Adults 25-54: +62 percent.
Women 25-54: 77 percent.
