By Ross Jones, FOXSports.com A couple of years ago the Dallas Cowboys unveiled the biggest LED television screen in professional sports hanging above their field. It was a wonder just how in the hell it worked, let alone how it displayed such a crystal clear picture. Now, just when you thought TV screens couldn’t get any larger, they did. Well, kinda. Reliant Stadium, home of the Houston Texans, finally showed off its new 277-foot long video boards which have been placed at each end zone. The video boards are the longest in the NFL, but the Cowboys’ screens more adequately compare to the 16-by-9 TV ratio consumers have grown accustom to. The NFL is doing just about anything to make the stadium experience more fan friendly. By adding these flat-screen monitors, Texans’ fans will now be able to get the “home experience” while participating in the unique festivities of an NFL game day. Fans will be able to see the finished project, which cost $16.5 million, for the first time when the Texans host the Dolphins on Saturday night. Boy, that’s a whole lot of J.J. Watt up there.
