IRVING, Texas – Dez Bryant says he isn't licking his chops looking at the San Diego defense, but he probably should be.
The Chargers rank last in the NFL in pass defense, allowing an average of 340.7 yards per game.
"I'm telling you the truth, I really don't pay attention to it," the Cowboys' receiver said. "We go out and we practice and we watch them on film and we try to see where we can attack them out, find that weakness and attack them."
Based on the Chargers' first three games, this could be a big day for Bryant when the Cowboys play at San Diego on Sunday. The Chargers have allowed a receiver to surpass 100 yards in every game so far: DeSean Jackson of the Eagles (9 catches, 193 yards), Andre Johnson of the Texans (12 catches, 146 yards) and Nate Washington of the Titans (8 catches, 131 yards).
Bryant refused to speculate on his chances for success Sunday.
"I see what you're trying to do," Bryant said. "I'm not going to get into it. Like I said, what we do is we try to find the holes and try to execute these plays."
The Chargers will see a fully healthy Bryant, who said he has recovered from a back injury suffered two games ago at Kansas City.
"I feel great," Bryant said. "I've had two full days of practice under my belt and it felt good to go 100 [percent]."
