Cavaliers set franchise records for both points in a quarter & half in playoff game
Things may have been different at Quicken Loans Arena, but the Cavaliers picked up right where they left off in Boston.
Thanks to a 64 percent outburst, the team scored a franchise-record best 43 points in the first quarter in Game 5.

Cleveland knocked down 6 of 11 three pointers, but the big three continued their momentum with another dominant period of basketball.
LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving combined for 30 on 12-for-19 from the floor.
Things didn't slow down in the following quarter, either.
Led by Deron Williams' 14 points, the wine and gold's bench bunch chipped in 23 as the Cavaliers set the playoff franchise record for the most points in a half with 75.

If this trend continues, the Cavaliers will be well on their way to their third straight NBA Finals appearance.
