Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving launches underwear line
Kyrie Irving is the latest star to have his own men's underwear line.
The Cleveland Cavaliers point guard signed a deal with PSD underwear to debut his own signature collection in August. Irving also is taking an equity stake in the Los Angeles-based designer, founded by brothers Curt and Ryan Flaitz in 2008 per a PSD Underwear press release.
Irving will also be a designer at PSD and serve as a trend spotter for the company. The Cavaliers' guard will design a new collection of PSD products each season.
"When Curt approached me about getting more involved with PSD, it was an easy decision since I already wear the brand and love the style and comfort," Irving said in a statement.
Irving's collection for PSD, a series of six custom boxer briefs, will arrive in specialty boutiques and major retailers in August
Irving joins several other NBA and NFL players, including Marshawn Lynch, Stevie Johnson, Chandler Parsons, Mike Miller and LeBron James who have become investors or supporters of the PSD brand.
Earlier this year, Irving launched his own signature shoe line with Nike.
