Cardinals place Rosenthal, three others on DL, recall Tuivailala

ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Cardinals placed four pitchers on the 10-day disabled list Thursday, including right-hander Trevor Rosenthal, who has a right lat strain.

The others sent to the DL: right-handers John Gant and Alex Reyes and left-hander Tyler Lyons. Gant is nursing a right groin strain and Lyons a right knee injury. Reyes is out for the season after undergoing right elbow surgery.

To fill the gap in their bullpen, the Cardinals recalled right-hander Sam Tuivailala from Triple-A Memphis.

The Cardinals have 28 players, including two non-roster invitees, remaining in major league camp.
