California Chrome shows off Ducks gear

California Chrome, the first California-bred horse to win the Kentucky Derby since 1962, screams California.
The horse was bred and born in the state, and up until the 140th running of the Kentucky Derby last Saturday, hadn't raced outside of California lines.
Owned by Perry Martin and Steve Coburn, the horse also trained at Los Alamitos Race Course in Orange County, so it's only natural that he'd be a Ducks fan.
On Friday as California Chrome trained at Churchill Downs in preparation for the Preakness Stakes on May 17, trainers Art and Alan Sherman snapped a shot of the horse sporting his Ducks gear a day after the team cut the Kings' series lead to 2-1.
The Freeway Faceoff is set to resume Saturday at Staples Center, and we all know who Chrome will be rooting for.
