Brewers call up C/1B Josmil Pinto from Triple-A

The Milwaukee Brewers have called up catcher/first baseman Josmil Pinto from Triple-A Colorado Springs, the team announced Tuesday.

The Brewers' 40-man roster is full with his addition.

The 27-year-old Pinto hit .308 in 286 at-bats (86 games) for Colorado Springs this season with 11 home runs and 51 RBI. The Venezuela native appeared in 78 games for the Minnesota Twins in 2013 and 2014, hitting .257 with 11 home runs and 30 RBI in 245 at-bats.
