Brewers bullpen catcher has 'steak' in Phillies record

Cal Ripken's consecutive game streak. Joe DiMaggio's hit streak. Marcus Hanel's Philly cheesesteak streak?
The Milwaukee Brewers bullpen catcher set a mind-numbing — or maybe that should be stomach-numbing — record at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park. Hanel devoured his 18th Philadelphia cheesesteak over a three-game period to set a stadium record, which is kept on display on a whiteboard in the visitor's clubhouse.
The Brewers play a fourth game in Philadelphia on Thursday, surely a sidelight to Hanel's next record: he needs to eat just one more of the tasty local cuisine to set the four-game record.
No word on whether Hanel set the record for antacid consumption as well.
