Which NASCAR driver would make the best United States president?

And and if there was a NASCAR Mt. Rushmore, which four faces should go on it?

Brad Keselowski recently tackled these two lighthearted but intriguing queries with a small group of reporters outside his hauler at Daytona International Speedway.

So about that president ...

"Me!" Keselowski blurted out with no hesitation.

"Or, Dale (Earnhardt) Jr. because Dale Jr., everything he did would be popular. He could do anything and be popular. Raise taxes. Yeah! Lower taxes. Yeah! Dale Jr. has enormous political capital."

Keselowski then gave his take on who would be most deserving of a place on the hypothetical NASCAR Mt. Rushmore.

"Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon," the 2012 Sprint Cup champion said quickly, then paused. "Those are the three that come to mind. I don't know who the fourth one would be. I'd have to think about that."

Then someone suggested that, in fact, he could be the fourth.

"That's a heck of a goal to have," Keselowski said.
