Bond still questionable; Thomas is doing fine

Published Oct. 15, 2015 3:47 p.m. ET

Monday, Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said linebacker Devante Bond could possibly play this Saturday against Kansas State.

By Wednesday, his status seemed to be in doubt.

"He's good," defensive coordinator Mike Stoops said. Neither Mike or Bob Stoops said if Bond could play against the Wildcats.

Bond suffered a sprained ankle against West Virginia and didn't play against Texas.

P.L. Lindley started in place of Bond vs. Texas.

In other injury news, sophomore cornerback Jordan Thomas got hurt in the second quarter against Texas receiver Armanti Foreman. Foreman was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play.

"It's good," Thomas told The Oklahoman of his shoulder. "It's a lot better. Got a cheap shot, but at the same time, you've got to recover, get treatment. I'm back to feeling a lot better."
