Ben Clymer joins the FOX Sports North team

You may notice a new face during tonight's Golden Gopher Hockey telecast. Ben Clymer joins the FOX Sports North team as reporter and analyst.
Clymer, a Minnesota native, grew up in Bloomington and played hockey at Jefferson High School where he helped the team win the State Championship in 1994. Clymer went on to play with the Golden Gophers for two seasons before heading to the NHL, where he spent the next eight years of his career playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning and Washington Capitals. Clymer won a Stanley Cup in 2004 with the Tampa Bay Lighting.
Clymer retired from the NHL and is currently coaching and finishing his degree at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota He made his television debut in 2011 providing analysis for the Minnesota State High School Tournament for Channel 45.
