Tatiana Ivanova of Russia wins World Cup luge race

LILLEHAMMER, Norway (AP) Tatiana Ivanova of Russia won a World Cup luge race Saturday on the track used at the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics.

Ivanova was timed in 1 minute, 35.306 seconds and followed by Canada's Alex Gough in 1:35.732 and Germany's Dajana Eitberger in 1:35.753.

Erin Hamlin of Remsen, N.Y., led the American effort with an 11th-place finish.

Tobias Wendle and Tobias Arlt won the doubles, ahead of German teammates Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken. Alexander Denisyev and Vladislav Antonov of Russia earned the bronze.
