The amount of pizza people eat on Super Bowl Sunday will astound you

Super Bowl Sunday isn't just about football - for millions and millions of viewers who aren't fans of the New England Patriots or Atlanta Falcons, the day can be mostly about the food.

Football fans take their game-day feasts very seriously, but the stakes are raised for the Super Bowl, and pizza places across the country are bracing for their busiest day of the year.

The people at Sports Interaction crunched the numbers and found that the number of pizza slices sold spikes by 350% for the Super Bowl.
