DeMarco Murray’s start to the season is going from bad to worse to possibly injured.

Murray left Philadelphia Eagles’ practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury and will undergo an MRI, according to ESPN’s Adam Caplan.

This is brutal news for Murray, who was desperate to turn his season around after becoming the butt of all jokes for his meager 11 rushing yards on 21 attempts this season.

Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles would likely see all carries if Murray is unable to play at the New York Jets on Sunday.

Last year was the first season where Murray did not miss a game due to injury. Jerry Jones would look like a genius for letting him go if he ends up missing time.
