Published Oct. 10, 2015 10:00 a.m. ET

Saturday night's Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway could be delayed by rain, if the current weather pattern holds.

According to weather.com, there is a 100 percent chance of rain for Saturday in Concord, North Carolina, where the track is located and where it's been raining since Saturday morning.

The forecast calls for at least a 60 percent chance of precipitation through 11 p.m. ET.

At midnight, the chance of rain drops to 25 percent and remains low through the night.

The green flag is scheduled to wave at 7:21 p.m. ET, and Charlotte Motor Speedway, of course, is equipped with lights.

NASCAR has 12 Air Titan track-drying machines at the 1.5-mile speedway this weekend.

Back in July at Daytona, Sprint Cup Series cars took the green flag around midnight after a lengthy rain delay. The race finished around 3 a.m.
